Hello My Name Is...

Beth Sharpe

I have lived in Lexington for nearly eighteen years. I am a 1988 graduate of Gardner-Webb University with a B.S. degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education (K-6). In 2011, I
received my N.C. Certification as a Reading Specialist (K-12).
Teaching children and encouraging their learning is a true passion of mine. I believe all children are unique with special gifts and strengths. My role is to help them uncover their individual qualities that will help them grow successfully.
Throughout my career as a N.C. educator, I have taught grades Kindergarten through 8th grades. I am very fortunate to be a part of Davidson County Schools and at Southmont Elementary.
