Meet the Principal
My name is Michele Cotter. I am so excited to be joining the Southmont family this year. I was born and raised in Central NY. My huband and I have been married to Paul for 24 years and have 2 amazing boys.
I come to you with 24 years of education behind me. I am certified in Elementary Education N-6, Special Education K-12, have a Masters in Literacy, and finally I have a CAS in Educational Leadership-School Building Leader, as well as School District Leader.
I look forward to leading our school faculty, staff, and students this year. Our focus will be on student growth as we strive to meet high expectations.
I encourage all of you to be active participants in your child's education. Together we can change the world!
